ACTIVITIES

A comprehensive activity programme is arranged by a dedicated Activities Organiser and caters for cerebral, physical and social gatherings as well as the introduction of outside speakers and entertainers and visits away to local centres of leisure in the Home's dedicated bus and car fleet.
We look for progress for Residents entering a Care Home and with good care, wholesome food and nothing to worry about, life should be enjoyable. That's why at The Old Hall we spend a lot of time and energy on activities.
As well as the daily activities of life it is important to keep a balance of interests which focus on mental and physical stimulation, artistic and social aspects of living and ensure that individuality

can be expressed through the exercise of the brain, the body, the arts and the persona.
At The Old Hall we regard these activities as being an important part of the additional life of the Home. An Activities Organiser is on hand to plan, prepare and drive these optional activities, such as: reminiscences, cards, board games, crosswords, and quizzes; physical fitness and dexterity; art, design, music and acting; talks, slide shows, lectures and visiting performers.
Like so much in life, 'variety is the spice' and not everyone likes every type of activity but whatever your taste we hope to provide something that interests most people and we strive hard to make life rewarding as well as making you content.
